After many requests by our customers,
we have decided to start doing alterations in the store!
The benefit to you? Quicker turn around, and no
lost orders. Signs of quality in
alterations include using real thread in all hems
so they never fall out, and not using "fishing line"
thread on a chain stitch (one pull on the wrong thread
and your hem goes bye-bye).
Because most
customers only need their pants hemmed, we now offer
plain hems at no charge. Also, shortening a waist is free when
we don't have your correct size in stock. We do,
however have to charge for more extensive alterations so
that the costs for these time-consuming and expensive
sewing operations do not get passed on to our other
customers and so that everyone gets the best deal
possible on their mission clothing.
