This white blouse is a great example of how pretty a dobby fabric can be.  Dobby fabric is made when a specialized loom raises or lowers the warp threads during the weaving process to create a pattern.  This blouse features a beautiful tonal stripe that runs vertically in the fabric.  The cut of the blouse is modest and at the same time has seaming that appropriately accentuates the figure.  Paired with the tonal stripe, the darts are very slimming in this blouse.

 

The fabric is very hearty, but soft to the touch.  It is 100% cotton that has been treated with a non-iron finish for durability and a crisp look.  The look is topped off with pretty faux mother-of-pearl buttons with a back shank that give the blouse a dressy look.  This blouse really is bang for the buck.
