MissionaryMall was founded July 10th, 1997 in the basement of the owner's parent's home. Since then we have grown to three Utah stores and have been helping about 16,000 missionaries per year since 2007. That is well over half of the missionaries who go out each year.
Our goal in life is to help missionaries and to that end we have dedicated ourselves to figuring out creative ways to help missionaries get the best gear and have the best shopping experience. Most of our innovations come from talking about what would have made our mission gear better or what would have made the shopping experience better.

The Missionary Registry:
Most recently, our dream of providing a missionary registry was realized. For about 5-6 years we have wanted to do this, but the technology was far too expensive. Finally, after a total overhaul of our systems that has taken about 2 years and a lot of money, we have another great way to help missionaries prepare-- the mission registry. Now missionaries can simply pick out exactly what they need for their missions then friends, relatives, and Ward members who want to help don't have to guess about what to give. This helps defray the cost of the mission outfitting and allows people to take an active and confident roll in helping missionaries serve.
We save you money:
As a matter of fact, one of the things we are most proud of is that we save the average missionary over $1,000.00 even if they don't shop with us! When we started in 1997, the average cost to outfit a missionary was well over $2500. Now, it is right around $1,500 for most missions. That is because we took a very aggressive approach to pricing and the others had to follow us or go out of business. We can still save you a few hundred dollars over our nearest competition and another $300 to $400 over the course of your mission by not having to "re-buy" your gear.
