Return Policy
In order to be fair to all customers, items purchased today can be returned for a full refund or exchange within 30 days from date of purchase, so long as they are in the original packaging with tags, and provided that the items are in new, resalable condition (not washed or worn). After 30 days, items may only be returned for in-store credit. After 90 days, all sales are final. Suit jackets cannot be returned or exchanged after they have been altered in any way. There will be a $10 re-stocking fee per pant for returned hemmed pants.
Two Year Wearproof Guarantee
The two-year wear-proof guarantee covers items purchased from our store which wear out during the course of active, full-time missionary service. Worn out items may be returned via photograph (electronic files, photocopies, etc. are acceptable proof of a wear out) or by sending the item back to the store. If the exact item is not available, then a substitution will be sent of equal or greater value. MissionaryMall will then either replace or repair the item.
Please include your name, your mission, the brand and color of the item (sometimes the pictures aren't very clear) and the US address you would like the new items sent to. If serving abroad, please make sure that the US receiver is aware that they will be receiving replacement clothing for you. You can email any pictures to: customerservice@missionarymall.org.
Shipping For Replacement Items
If you need to have an item replaced but can't come to one of our stores to do it, we will ship the replacements for a flat $8 charge to anywhere in the USA. If you need shipping, please send a check for the $8 in with the pictures or you can call us anytime to have the shipping charge put on a credit card.
Repair or Replace
After receiving the item or picture of the worn out item, MissionaryMall will chose to repair or replace the item. In over 90% of cases, we simply ship you a new item, however, some items qualify for repairs. Repairs on clothing items would be if the fabric is in good condition but a seam has failed. Repairs on items like luggage would usually involve having the item repaired at MissionaryMall's expense.
Due to shipping and tariff costs to us and overseas missionaries, replacement items to missionaries serving overseas can only be sent to US addresses and forwarded on by a private party (family, friend, etc). Replacement items sent to missionaries serving in the US can only be sent to valid US mission apartments and mission homes.
Honor System
Please be honest. This guarantee is a service and benefit designed to help the full time missionary who originally purchased the items from our store so that they do not have to re-purchase missionary clothing in the mission field. It is not meant to outfit younger friends or siblings or provide a new wardrobe a few months before the end of mission service.
Our product line has been refined by this guarantee. If we see that something is not lasting, we stop selling it! Everything you buy from MissionaryMall has been tested by real missionaries. If it fails, we get it back and then fix the product or find another supplier for future missionaries. We don't just offer theories on what we think will last, we put our money where our mouth is. We are on the line for items that don't last!
The Two Year Guarantee Saves You Money
Our prices are already the lowest around, but the guarantee means that you will never have to "re-buy" mission gear, saving you hundreds of dollars on your mission as well!!!
How Long Does it Take?
Replacement or repaired items usually ship in 5-6 business days. If we no longer sell the item, or a particular style has been discontinued by the manufacturer, a similar style of equal or greater value will be selected in its place. If an item has been sold out, or will be on backorder with the manufacturer for longer than 6 business days, we will contact you to see if you'd like to wait for the original item or select another style.
Shoe Coverage-- The Two Pair Rule
In order to have your shoes covered by the Wear-Proof Guarantee you must purchase two pair of shoes from us. There are several reasons for this. Most importantly, the mission list suggests that missionaries take 2-3 pairs of shoes. Taking just one pair of shoes will not last for any missionary and it will likely cause significant foot problems. Shoes must be rotated daily! Giving the shoes a day off between wearing gives the sole a day to rebound before being worn again. This provides more durability and softer cushion to the feet, legs, and back. It also allows the shoe to dry, which prevents foot health problems and helps the leather to last longer.
